The description of the Spring Festival

The Spring Festival is the most important festival for the Chinese people and is when all family members get together, just like Christmas in the West. All people living away from home go back, becoming the busiest time for transportation systems of about half a month from the Spring Festival. Airports, railway stations and long-distance bus stations are crowded with home returnees.

People are very happy in Spring Festival. They often have large dinners and watch special programs on TV with the family on the Lunar New Year's Eve. On the Lunar New Year'sDay, people pay visits to relatives and friends. Children are very happy, too. They are in new clothes, and usually get some money, which is put in a red paper envelope from elder people.
In Spring Festival, you can see a lot of traditional programs too, such as lion dancing or dragon dancing. They wish people a happy New year and a bright future. It's very interesting.
